Parlay Entertainment Blackjack Review

Casinos running on Parlay Entertainment software offer 8-deck multi-hand Blackjack.

 

There are 3 tables with different stake limits, meaning you can bet from $5 to $1000.

There is a Progressive Jackpot side bet that costs $1. The Progressive is won on a Blackjack hand of Ace and Jack of Spades. There are no lower wins on this. 

 

Game Rules 

  • 8 decks are used. Cards are reshuffled after dealing a percentage of the shoe.
  • The dealer must stand on 17 or more.
  • Dealer peeks for a Blackjack if up card is an Ace.
  • Pairs can be split to a maximum of two hands.
  • When splitting Aces, only one further card will be dealt to each hand.Split hands can be doubled down.

The house edge under these rules is 0.49%

Cryptologic casinos offer Pontoon and MultiPlayer Pontoon as another interesting alternative to standard Blackjack.

The house edge on these games are pretty good at 0.17%.

Game rules 

  • The game is played with 8 decks.
  • Deck is re-shuffled after approximately one-third of the shoe has been dealt.
  • Dealer must Twist on 16 and Soft 17 and Stick on Hard 17.
  • Pontoon Pays 2 to 1.
  • 5 Card trick pays 2 to 1.
  • Player must twist on 14 or less.
  • Buy once anytime.
  • Twist after buy is allowed.
  • Split 2 times max.
  • Dealer wins Ties.
  • Splitting Aces allowed.
  • No insurance available to the player.

Cryptologic Super Fun 21

Super Fun 21 is a Blackjack version that’s popular in many Las Vegas casinos because of its liberal rules.

Theses are the rules for the following Blackjack games, which are available at casinos running on Cryptologic software: 

  • Super Fun 21
  • MultiPlayer Super Fun 21

Side Bet 

The games include the $1 Super Fun Side-bet bonus, which pays at 300 to 1.

The Bonus is paid when a player’s first two cards give Blackjack in Diamonds.

Game Rules 

  • The game is played with a single deck of cards.
  • Dealer hits a soft 17.
  • Player may double after a split.
  • Player may split pairs up to 3 hands.
  • Player may hit and double down on split aces.
  • Player may double on any number of cards.
  • Player may take late surrender on any number of cards.
  • Player may surrender half of total bet after doubling.
  • Player hand totalling 20 or less, consisting of six cards, except after doubling, pays 1:1.
  • Player hand of 21, consisting of 5 cards or more, except after doubling, pays 2:1.
  • Player blackjack always wins, pays 1:1
  • Player blackjack in diamonds pays 2:1

The house edge of 0.94% is not great compared to other Blackjack variants.

Multi-Split Blackjack

Multi-Split Blackjack is found at casinos running on Cryptologic software.

As the name suggests, the game differs from the other Cryptologic Blackjacks in allowing re-splitting of hands. This means you get better a better chance of beating the dealer.

The re-splitting option takes the house edge down to 0.36%

In all other respects it’s the same as their classic 8-deck blackjack game.

 

Game rules

  • Eight 52-card decks are used.
  • The deck is re-shuffled after each hand.
  • Dealer stands on all 17’s.
  • Doubling after splitting allowed.
  • Re-splitting of cards allowed up to three times.
  • No surrender.
  • Only one additional card allowed on each Ace when splitting a pair of Aces.

Cryptologic Progressive Jackpot Blackjack

These Progressive Jackpot Blackjack games are found at casinos running on Cryptologic software.

Below are the rules for Cryptologic’s three Progressive Blackjack games, that is; 

  • "Progressive Blackjack"
  • "Multi-Hand Progressive Blackjack"
  • "MultiPlayer Progressive Blackjack"

Progressive side bet 

The Progressive games include an optional progressive side bet. This costs $1 and pays according to the number of consecutive Aces the player receives:
